Squatting Limitations

Coaches are constantly telling athletes to get deeper in their squat, often for good reason, because the athlete needs to get deeper, and can get deeper. But maybe you're one of those people who no matter what you do, getting deeper just doesn't seem to be an option. A relatively small percentage of our patients who come in with this problem are physically incapable of squatting deeper. Their hips are limited in their range of motion. There is too much bone, mis-shaped joints, or a badly injured soft tissue structure like a labrum tear that is restricting him flexion range of motion. If you are someone who is suffering from limited hip range of motion that is not correctable this video will be the most important thing you watch this week. If you're not sure, this video might help you find out.
